The call to provide consumers with safer cars has been answered by manufacturers with better airbag design, automatic braking systems, back-up cameras, lane change assist and electronic stability control, just to name of few of the innovative technological mechanisms that have evolved as a result of the consumers call for safer car design. These changes in design help protect passengers inside the vehicle compartment and help to prevent vehicle collisions and resulting catastrophic injury.
