On April 24, 2015 at approximately 4:30 pm, 58 year old Moneta resident Trinkle L. Cook died at the scene of a car accident he was involved in. Mr. Cook was driving his Crown Victoria on route 670, less than a mile from 122 when he was struck head on by a 1999 Chevy Silverado truck that crossed the center line. Mr. cook was wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the Silverado, 51 year old Ronald L. Bowker suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital. He was charged with DUI.
I have handled numerous wrongful death cases in my twenty year career as a personal injury lawyer. DUI cases are some of the hardest. Families are left in shock and wondering why they lost their loved one to such a senseless act.
Families also must consider what the future holds for them. Not only are they dealing with grief and anger, but funeral costs and hospitals bills will begin to accumulate. Families must also consider lost wages when thinking of the future. That is why, I do what I do.
I am here to help families that have lost a loved one due to wrongful death navigate through the sea of paperwork, insurance documents and medical and funeral bills that will inevitably come.
